Venus Williams' Sparkly Dress

Venus Williams sparkled in her third round win at the 2010 U.S. Open, and not just because of her great tennis. There was this sparkly dress, too. Only problem: It kept riding up on her, causing her to frequently have to pull the hem back down. But no worries, her undershorts were sparkly, too! Said Venus:

"This outfit was really about New York. ... It's like bursts of fireworks. It's about a celebration of me playing my best obviously at home and kind of doing what I love and being able to wear something fun while I do it. So just always trying to do something fun on the court."

Venus Williams' French Open outfit is getting a lot of attention. Hmmm, wonder why that is ...



Because it looks like lingerie? Because it gives the illusion of being see-through? Venus Williams' French Open outfit - which she wore in the first round of the 2010 tournament (wonder what we'll see next) also gave the illusion of bare booty:



But(t) remember, it's just an illusion. There are shorts there underneath the lacy skirt.

Congratulations to Venus Williams, who won the WTA Sony Ericsson Championships for the first time on Sunday. Venus defeated Vera Zvonareva 6-7, 6-0, 6-2 in the finals.

Venus Wins Wimbledon

She's Venus, and yeah, baby, she's got it: Venus Williams won Wimbledon 2008. It's her fifth Wimbledon singles championship, and she beat sister Serena 7-5, 6-4, to get it. Venus also won Wimbledon in 2000, 2001, 2005 and 2007.
