I havn't had over heating problems on my LaCi Proche drive, and I have had it work hard for several hours at a time. Then again, it is on a glass table.

I remember having a similar problem back in the late 80s - I had a Commodore 64, which plugged into a PAL TV and had the British keyboard layout. When I first got a PC, it came with an American keyboard (as all PCs sold here do) and I had to get used to it.
Fast forward 15 years, put me in front of a British keyboard and my typing slows dramatically. So you'll get used to it.

TRIM enabler is a hack, and some people have reported that their read/write speeds have dropped significantly after installing it on their macs. I'm worried that it even does the job, but I am guessing it just changes the kernel so that instead of saying 'No' it says 'Yes' under TRIM support in SERIAL-ATA.
It's not just changing the No to a Yes. You can confirm TRIM is working by using hfsdebug and dd, with and without the patch. The beachballs people get could be due to an over aggressive use of TRIM by the current kext's, guess we'll find out sooner or later.

Online translators are not very accurate with translating texts. It's much better to just pay a professional to do it for you.
As for the dropdowns, you could consider replacing them with "suckerfish" dropdowns that use only HTML and CSS and a little tiny javascript for IE.

Too bad the person stung by the 2 hornets didn't already have his iPhone 4. I'm almost certain that the new iPhone would contain some kind of antidote that would have been very helpful. I guess we will all just have to wait for Thursday!
Is everyone with an iPhone going to download iOS 4 tom and test I out or are you guys going to wait for Thursday?
I am going to wait until Wednesday night or Thursday. As soon as the new phone is in my hand, I am going to ship my 3g to the new owner (they did not want the new software on the phone)
So, I will back up my stuff on the phone, erase all my stuff on it and have it ready for the new owner. Then I will download the new software

I have 3 23" apple (new) monitors (office, home, 2nd home). They are great, i ordred them as soon as i could and i am very happy with them. In my office i use it with my XP desktop and its wonderfull.

Exactly. I mean, how many of these could they possible sell? And imagine the costs of making one. There would (most probably) be a whole bunch of dead pixels...

Single player mostly. I just find I'd rather be doing something else than playing video games when I'm with a group of friends. Unless it's something interactive like Guitar Hero, haven't tried a Wii yet but I'm sure I'd dig that.

Yeah, it should. And your statement isn't QUITE correct. There was PC1600. (Slower than PC2100,) but it was really unusual. By the time DDR became mainstream, PC2100 was the norm.

I surfed on to this page (http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/productlist.aspx?fprint=yes) and notice MS introducing fingerprint technologies. And i think its a pretty good idea. I want to know if it was mac compat. or if apple was considering introducing something like this in the future. or just what pple thought in general about it.

Since the update, my iChat doesn't display my contacts names from Facebook anymore, just their numeric ID.

I use one of those cheap ones for more than an year! I'm very satisfied. Although I had to modify it a little bit it costed me about 10$.
