Taylor Swift Nabs Top Spot on Billboard 200

She’s no stranger to impressive sales numbers, and Taylor Swift's album Speak Now has once again topped the Billboard 200 album chart.
The “Mine” songstress beat Susan Boyle’s The Gift with 259,000 units sold vs. 254,000. Michael Jackson’s first posthumous release Michael came in third with 228,000 copies.

Swift came out of the gate with a huge blast, as she sold over a million copies of Speak Now within the first two weeks of release this fall.
Also noteworthy is the fact that nearly all albums in the Top 50 received a sales boost thanks to the holiday shopping season.
