Who is Zhang Shuai? She's the Chinese player who just beat world No. 1 (but not for long!) Dinara Safina in the Beijing tournament. Shuai was ranked No. 226 when she beat No. 1 Safina. It is the first time a player ranked below No. 200 has knocked off the No. 1 player in women's golf.

Maria Sharapova Wins

Finally - another win for Maria Sharapova. The Russian mynx, beset by injuries, hadn't won a tournament since April 2008. But on Sunday, she defeated Jelena Jankovic in the finals of the Toray Pan Pacific when Jankovic stopped due to injury. Sharapova was ahead in the first set, 5-2, when Jankovic defaulted.
