Jelena Jankovic is back to No. 1 in the WTA world singles rankings after winning her last two tournaments. Those are the China Open (Sept. 22-28, 2008), and then the Porsche Grand Prix in Berlin, where Jankovic defeated Nadia Petrova in the final.
